Decision to award the Childcare Reforms Local Authority Capital Funding and Wraparound Childcare Delivery grant to successful applicants following the Phase 1 application process (1July to 19 July 2024) and Grant panel consultation on 9 August 2024. 

Pursuant to an Authorisation from Cabinet (12/06/2024): Childcare Reforms Capital and Delivery Grants



It should be noted that since this decision was made the portfolio for Early Years had moved from the Cabinet Member for Children’s Safeguarding to the Cabinet Member for Education and Bus Transport.

Having consulted with Cllr Phil Robinson, Cabinet Member for Education and Bus Transport, now the Lead Member for Early Years, in accordance with the Cabinet decision on 12 June 2024:



DECISION



To award the following Subsidy Control Regime compliant grant fundings using the grant awarding process agreed by Cabinet on 12 June 2024:



a) Childcare Reforms Local Authority Capital funding: and



b) Wraparound Childcare Delivery grant to expand existing and/or develop new early years and out of school provision (wraparound).
