Developing Redwell Road property as a registered 4 bed children’s home

To seek approval from the Cabinet Member for Children’s Safeguarding and Early Years for the re-purposing of a Council owned property on Redwell Road, to provide a registered 4 bedroomed children’s home.

The provision at Redwell Road is an integral element within the Sufficiency Strategy Home@theHeart and forms part of a wider programme of capital developments. A stable home and loving care for children at the Redwell Road site will be delivered by staff who are recruited and employed by the council under an in-house management and staffing model.
