The Levelling Up Together Grant Scheme – Allocation of Grant Awards

Pursuant to an Authorisation from Cabinet on 27.01.21
Decision: To delegate authority to the Executive Director of Adult Social Care and Public Health, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Public Health and Communities and the Executive Director for Corporate Resources to allocate the Local Authority Contain Outbreak Management Fund in order to deliver the objectives in the Local Outbreak Management Plan in accordance with the Council’s standing orders and procurement legislation.
On 28 September 2022, Peter Bungard, Chief Executive, delegated authority to the Director of Public Health to take the Delegated Decision in place of the Executive Director of Adult Social Care and Public Health to whom authority was originally delegated by Cabinet on 27 January 2021.


Having consulted with the Leader (in his capacity as portfolio holder for Public Health and Communities) and the Executive Director for Corporate Resource in accordance with the Cabinet decision dated 27.01.21.

DECISION

To allocate £1,458,712.50 from the Levelling Up Together Fund (described in the ‘Background/Context’ section of this report) by way of 52 one-off grants (to the organisations outlined in Table 2 in this report) for the purpose of levelling up.
