To obtain approval for a contract variation to the Microsoft Enterprise Licence Agreement provided by Bytes Software Services Ltd for the procurement of a Microsoft 365 data migration partner and ancillary services, in relation to recommendations (a) and (c) detailed in the Procurement of a Microsoft 365 Implementation Partner Decision dated 27/07/2021.

That the council vary its contract with Bytes Software Services Ltd to support the cleansing and migration of data from their on-premises environment to the M365 Azure Cloud.

11/05/2022 - Approval to publish a statutory notice to permanently extend the age range of Widden Primary School from 4-11 to 2-11 from October 2022. ref: 1859    Recommendations Approved

Following a period of consultation, we seek permission to publish a statutory notice to permanently extend the age range from 4-11 to 2-11 at Widden Primary School from October 2022.

Having fully considered all the available information, I have decided to reject the alternative options and take the recommended decision to:

 

Approve the publication of the Statutory Notice proposing to permanently extend the age range from 4-11 to 2-11 years at Widden Primary School from October 2022.

To delegate authority to the Director of Education, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Economy, Education and Skills:

1. To publish a statutory notice on a proposal to permanently extend the age range of St James’ & Ebrington C of E Primary School and Longborough C of E Primary School from 4-11 to 2-11 years with effect from 1st September 2022.

2. If no materially significant representations are received to the statutory consultation set out in Recommendation 1, to determine the proposal to permanently extend the age range for the schools from 4-11 to 2-11 with effect from 1st September 2022 subject to the Department for Education (DfE):

• issuing an Academy Order for the School and
• agreeing the date on which the school converts to academy status

·         issuing academy orders for the schools and

·         agreeing the date on which the schools convert to academy status

 

The decision to consider such representations shall be determined by a Cabinet Member if materially significant objections are received to the consultation exercises set out in Recommendation 1

09/05/2022 - Extension to Geometric Results International Limited, (GRI), current supplier of temporary agency staff by three months. ref: 1857    Recommendations Approved

- The current contract with Geometric Results International Limited, (GRI) commenced on 1st September 2021 and was procured for a period of one year with the provision for a three-month extension.

- The procurement process for the new contract as agreed in the Cabinet paper dated 23rd June 2021 will commence in April 2022.

- This three-month extension, commencing on 1st September to 30th November 2022, will maintain the service delivery on the terms of the existing contract for a short period to enable the mobilisation of the new contract.
