To seek approval of the Draft Gloucestershire Statement of Common Ground. This would enable work to commence on an ‘Action Plan’ to advance the agreements outlined within the Gloucestershire Statement of Common Ground covering Strategic Planning issues within the county.

In coming to this decision I have given due and full regard to the requirements of the public sector equality duty contained in section 149 of the Equality Act 2010 (“the Act”) by reference to the law itself.

Having fully considered all the available information, I have decided to reject the alternative options and take the recommended decision to:

Approve the DRAFT Gloucestershire Statement of Common Ground, delegate authority to sign the final version once it has been formally agreed by each of the partners and delegate authority to the Executive Director of Economy, Environment and Infrastructure in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Environment and Planning to approve future minor changes to the document.

For the reasons set out in the report
