Purpose:
To obtain approval for a contract variation to
the Microsoft Enterprise Licence Agreement provided by Bytes
Software Services Ltd for the procurement of a Microsoft 365 data
migration partner and ancillary services, in relation to
recommendations (a) and (c) detailed in the Procurement of a
Microsoft 365 Implementation Partner Decision dated
27/07/2021.
Decision:
In coming to this decision I have given due and full regard to the requirements of the public sector equality duty contained in section 149 of the Equality Act 2010 (“the Act”) by reference to the law itself.
Having fully considered all the available information, I have decided to reject the alternative options and take the recommended decision:
That the council vary its contract with Bytes Software Services Ltd to support the cleansing and migration of data from their on-premises environment to the M365 Azure Cloud.
For the reasons set out in the report.
