Purpose:

Having consulted with the Cabinet Member for Adult Social Care Commissioning:



DECISION



To approve the following variations to the council’s contract with PeoplePlus Group Limited (trading as Gloucestershire Carers Hub (GCH)) for the provision of support for adult carers and parent carers in Gloucestershire:



A variation under which the annual charges payable thereunder during the final 2 years of the contract shall be increased by £118,473 per annum in order to continue to deliver carers support services to carers in Gloucestershire. (which equates to a 6.83% increase in total contract value);



A variation under which the number of hours of short break services that may be provided under the contract during the period 1st April 2024 - 31st March 2025 and 1st April 2025 to 31st March 2026 shall be capped at the same level as those that were provided under the contract during the period 1st April 2023 – 31st March 2024.; and



A variation under which any short break services that may be required during the final 2 years of the contract in excess of the said cap shall be called off by the council on a pay-as-you-go basis.

2.               A variation under which the number of hours of short break services that may be provided under the contract during the period 1st April 2024 - 31st March 2025 and 1st  April 2025 to 31st March 2026 shall be capped at the same level as those that were provided under the contract during the period 1st April 2023 – 31st March 2024.; and 

 

3.               A variation under which any short break services that may be required during the final 2 years of the contract in excess of the said cap shall be calledoff by the council on a pay-as-you-go basis.
