Purpose:

To seek approval to procure a three-year agreement for the supply of a volume licensing program that gives the flexibility to buy cloud services and software licences under one agreement, known as Microsoft Enterprise Agreement (Microsoft EA) with Unified Support from 1st April 2024 via an “aggregated competition” process that will be carried out by the Crown Commercial Service under the Crown Commercial Services (CCS) TePas framework agreement, lot 3 (RM6068).

Decision:

In coming to this decision I have given due and full regard to the requirements of the public sector equality duty contained in section 149 of the Equality Act 2010 (“the Act”) by reference to the law itself.

 

Having fully considered all the available information, I have decided to reject the alternative options and take the recommended decision to:

 

Delegate authority to the Director - People and Digital Services in consultation with the Deputy Leader & Cabinet Member - Finance and Change to:

1.    Participate in the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) Technology Products & Associated Services RM6068 – Lot 3 Software and Associated Services via an aggregated call-off competition for the supply of:

 

·         Microsoft Cloud Services

·         Microsoft Software Licences

·         Software assurance services and

·         Unified Support Services

 

       for a three-year period from 1 April 2024.

 

2.    Award one or more contract(s) to the preferred tenderer(s).
