Following the conclusion of a competitive
tender process in respect of a single supplier contract for the
sale of electricity generated by Gloucestershire Energy at the
Waste Facility (the “Facility”); and having consulted
with the Executive Director of Corporate Resources, the Cabinet
Member for Finance and Change and the Cabinet Member for
Environment and Planning in accordance with a decision by Cabinet
on 22nd December 2021:
DECISION
To award such contract to the preferred bidder, namely EDF Energy
Ltd, for an initial period of 4 years with an option to extend its
term for a further period of not more than 3 years.
Following the conclusion of a competitive tender process in respect of a single supplier contract for the sale of electricity generated by Gloucestershire Energy at the Waste Facility (the “Facility”); and having consulted with the Executive Director of Corporate Resources, the Cabinet Member for Finance and Change and the Cabinet Member for Environment and Planning in accordance with a decision by Cabinet on 22nd December 2021:

To award such contract to the preferred bidder, namely EDF Energy Ltd, for an initial period of 4[1]years with an option to extend its term for a further period of not more than 3 years.
[1] The contract will be for an initial period of 3 years, but to allow forward buying a 12-month period is also
included before the supply contract starts
