Purpose:

To recommend that the Cabinet Member for Public Protection, Parking and Libraries authorise the extension of the current IRMP 2018 - 2021 for a further year, supported by a one year IRMP Action Plan for 2021 - 22. A three year IRMP from 2022 – 25 will then be produced to be concurrent with the Gloucestershire County Council GCC Strategy.

Decision:

In coming to this decision, Cllr Dave Norman, Cabinet Member: Public Protection, Parking and Libraries, gave due and full regard to the requirements of the public sector equality duty contained in section 149 of the Equality Act 2010 (“the Act”) by reference to the law itself and also the relevant Due Regard Statement, which was prepared in accordance with the requirements of the Act.

 

Having fully considered all the available information, Cllr Norman decided to reject the alternative options and take the recommended decision for the reasons set out in the published decision report to:

 

Authorise the extension of the current IRMP 2018 - 2021 for a further year, supported by a one year IRMP Action Plan for 2021 - 22. A three year IRMP from 2022 – 25 will be produced to be concurrent with the GCC Council Strategy.
