To consider the latest iteration of the
Fastershire Broadband Strategy, which will direct the
implementation approaches of the Fastershire project, that will
drive the future delivery of high speed broadband infrastructure
throughout Gloucestershire and Herefordshire through to 2022.
In order to enable the most challenging and hardest to reach
properties, the project’s new approach will allow us to be
more agile and innovative. Allowing us to work more closely with
the those local communities and the private sector suppliers in
order to find a more bespoke solution for those premises in the
final 3%.

An update report and presentation on the revised Strategy will be made to the Joint Committee on 20th November 2019, (Scrutiny Committee members have been invited to attend this meeting).
