To seek approval to enact the County Council’s contractual obligations with Gloucestershire Care Partnership, including:

i)             the results of the regular benchmarking exercise and
 

ii)            investing in a programme of minor refurbishments across the council’s older care homes in order to improve the conditions for residents.

Decision:

Having fully considered all the available information, the Cabinet Member: Adult Social Care (Delivery) decided to reject the alternative options and take the recommended decision (for the reasons set out in the published decision report) to delegate authority to the Director of Adult Social Care to enact the Council’s contractual obligations with the Gloucestershire Care Partnership by entering into and complying with a settlement agreement to: -  

 

a)    Implement the results of the regular benchmarking exercise;

b)    Invest in a programme of minor refurbishments across the Council’s nine older care homes in order to improve the conditions of residents
