Appointment of Chairperson

Minutes:

Cllr Braidwood was elected Chairman for the meeting. Cllr S Williams attended for the morning session and Cllr Oosthuysen attended for the afternoon session.

These minutes had been circulated to members of the panel who sat on 22 May and had been approved. It was therefore

 

RESOLVED

 

That the public summary of the meeting held on 22 May be approved as a public record and signed by the Chairperson.

The Board may wish to exclude the press and public from the meeting during consideration of the remaining item on the agenda in accordance with the provisions of section 100A of the Local Government Act 1972 which is:

Information which is likely to reveal the identity of an individual (Schedule 12A:2).

Information relating to the financial or business affairs of any particular person (including the authority holding that information) (Schedule 12A:3).

That the press and public be excluded from the meeting during consideration of the remaining items on the Agenda in accordance with provisions of Section 100A of the Local Government Act 1972 (Schedule 12A paras 4, 5 and 7 which are:

 

Ø Information relating to any particular application for and recipient of, or former recipient of any service provided by the authority.

Ø Information relating to any particular application for a recipient of former recipient of any financial assistance provided by the authority. 

Ø Information relating to the financial or business affairs of any particular person (other than the authority).
